Caitlin Rose Davis is a freelance illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil and, as far back as she could remember, has been passionate about art. While raised in Northeast Tennessee surrounded by mountains and the infinite change of seasons, she became fascinated with nature, animals and insects. Her love of these things has given her inspiration for her artwork.

She has a diverse range of styles with various mediums including graphite, pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, gouache, oil, and pastels, as well as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. She is always eager to learn new mediums and techniques, as she does not like to limit herself. Often her work is a blend of dark, strange and surreal imagery juxtaposed with elegance giving her the artist pseudonym Strangely Rose. She has a love for detail and is passionate about line work, portraiture, and surrealism.

She currently resides in San Antonio, TX and is accepting commission work.
